Inspiration:
I grew up fishing with my dad in our hometown, nicknamed the “Land of Many Waters.” This piece is an ode to our fishing adventures and the beautiful rainbow trout that depend on our clean rivers.

Inspired by road trips through Oregon’s lush forests and highways surrounded by rivers and tall douglas firs — Oregon’s state tree.

Inspiration:
When I tried the base on for the first time, I immediately wanted to go hiking in it — it was super lightweight and made of natural fibers. I harnessed the vibes to create green and orange trout-inspired patchwork to represent the fish I scout while hiking alongside Oregon’s rivers.
